in my apartment’s hidden corners, i have placed two ceramic bowls, containing hopes. cobalt, periwinkle; lotus flower patterns. two smoothed, polished stones: first, amethyst. etched upon its surface,                             happiness — second, white quartz. etched upon its surface,                             dream — two butterflies. flight. color. organic tobacco. earth. breath.
